Data Quality Assurance Analyst
- Lead and execute end-to-end testing activities for data solutions, ensuring accuracy, quality, and reliability across business-critical systems.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios for data, ETL, and pipeline testing.
- Validate and test Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, workflows, and data integrations to ensure successful data movement and transformation.
- Manage defects and test activities using Azure DevOps, including defect logging, tracking, retesting, and reporting.
- Perform back-end data testing, analysing large datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and root causes.
- Validate data models and dimensional models, ensuring data structures, relationships, and business rules are correctly implemented.
- Use SQL to interrogate databases, read schemas and tables, reconcile data, and verify complex data transformations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, providing clear testing feedback, quality assurance leadership, and recommendations to support successful project delivery.
