The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to ensure the school's art curriculum is supported by outstanding resources, well-organised learning spaces and engaging creative opportunities.
You will prepare a wide range of materials including paints, clay, textiles, printmaking equipment, drawing resources and mixed-media supplies ready for lessons across the school. The role includes preparing attractive displays of pupils' artwork throughout the school, supporting school exhibitions, assisting with after-school art clubs and helping to coordinate whole-school creative projects and themed curriculum events. You will also support teachers during practical activities where required and help maintain inspiring learning environments that celebrate pupils' achievements.
Working collaboratively with staff, you will ensure practical activities are delivered safely while encouraging children to experiment creatively and develop new artistic skills in a supportive environment.
