Deputy Cleaning Contract Manager - Central London
Role Summary: The Deputy Cleaning Contract Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Cleaning Contract Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the cleaning services of a site in London . This includes managing a team of Cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. To join our team at a prestigious government building in Whitehall, candidates must meet strict security requirements.This role involves working in a highly sensitive environment, so successful applicants will need to undergo and pass enhanced security vetting . To be eligible for this process, you must:
- Be a British citizen
- Have been a UK resident for at least the past 10 years
- Be willing to complete all stages of the vetting procedure
- Assist the Cleaning Contract Manager in the day-to-day management of cleaning services.
- Supervise and motivate a team of cleaners, providing training and support as needed.
- Ensure all areas of the site are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
- Manage inventory and order cleaning supplies.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and payroll.
- Respond to and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or housekeeping environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings if required.
