An excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a thriving nursery in Worcester Park, SW London in a permanent role starting soon.
This wonderful nursery boasts great resources, including a private garden for outdoor learning and specialist rooms, and the supportive management team care about every member of staff.
As a qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will be working with likeminded colleagues in a positive work environment, and there are plenty of opportunities for career progression, further training (funded by the nursery) and bonuses paid throughout the year.
Previous experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this Early Years Practitioner position. A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a good attitude and passion for working in Early Years is very important .
Working full-time as a qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will be:
- Planning and leading activities and lessons that will stimulate children's imagination and creativity
- Encouraging development through age-appropriate interactive play
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development from a young age
- Helping children to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills and confidence
- Assisting with early reading and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum closely
- Carrying out observations and assessing key children's progress
