What you will do:

- Carry out Initial Assessments to inform care planning.
- Initiate Care Proceedings where necessary.
- Take cases to initial case conferences, ensuring comprehensive evaluations.
- Conduct assessments under the single assessment framework.
- Engage in thorough Care Planning and signposting to appropriate services.
- Perform risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Prepare detailed reports for initial child protection case conferences.
- Attend and contribute to case conferences as needed.
- Complete Section 17 reports for family courts to support proceedings.
- Draft initial court statements with accuracy and clarity.
- Apply for emergency care orders in urgent situations.
- Fulfil your duty by attending court sessions.
- Carry out home visits to monitor and safeguard children effectively.
- Chair meetings to facilitate collaborative discussions and decision-making.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

- A Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Substantial frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
