HGV Driver - Removals & Transport
Great Pay! - PAYE or Self-Employed Available
A well-established and highly regarded removals and transport business based in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, reliable driver who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service to customers. The role offers flexibility around employment status, with both PAYE and self-employed arrangements available.
- Driving HGV vehicles safely and professionally in line with company and road safety standards
- Supporting removals jobs on site, including loading and unloading, packing, dismantling and reassembling
- Driving smaller vehicles when needed to support operational requirements
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure each job runs smoothly and efficiently
- Representing the business positively when dealing with customers and the public
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working within a removals business (essential)
- A valid HGV licence and relevant CPC qualification
- A flexible and positive attitude towards working hours and duties
- A genuine team-player mindset and willingness to muck in when needed
- Confidence driving both HGVs and smaller vehicles
This role offers a choice of PAYE or self-employed working arrangements, a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-run local business, varied work within a supportive and professional team, and is based in Wimbledon with no Sunday working.
