What you will do:

* Deliver specialist podiatry assessment and treatment for high-risk patients.

* Manage complex conditions such as diabetic foot, ulcers, infections, and wound care.

* Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans.

* Provide expert advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

* Participate in multidisciplinary team working, including diabetes and vascular services.

* Lead on clinical decision-making and risk management.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

* Degree or Diploma in Podiatry.

Registration & Training:

* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

* Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

* Postgraduate training in high-risk or diabetic foot care is desirable.

Key Skills:

* Advanced clinical skills in high-risk podiatry and wound management.

* Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.

* Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.

* Excellent communication and patient education skills.

* Leadership and supervisory skills.

* Good IT and clinical documentation skills.

Experience:

* Significant experience as a Podiatrist, including high-risk caseloads.

* Experience managing diabetic foot and complex wound care.

* Experience within an NHS or specialist podiatry service.

* Experience supervising or mentoring staff is desirable.
