SEN TA - Southwark
An inclusive and progressive primary school in Southwark is recruiting an enthusiastic SEN TA to start in January 2026. This SEN TA position in Southwark offers a supportive working environment, excellent training and strong leadership. The successful SEN TA will begin in January 2026, with pre-start training and handover carried out before January 2026.
• SEN TA required to support learning and inclusion across the school
• SEN TA required to work within a nurturing primary school in Southwark
• SEN TA to deliver structured interventions and support pupil wellbeing
The SEN TA will support pupils both in the classroom and through targeted intervention sessions. As a SEN TA in Southwark, you will work with class teachers and the SENCo to ensure pupils feel safe, supported and confident in their learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily classroom and intervention support
- Adapt learning resources for accessibility
- Support emotional and behavioural needs
- Assist with monitoring and recording pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families in Southwark
Person Specification
- Experience working with children with SEND as a SEN TA
- Reliable, positive and adaptable approach
- Strong interpersonal and organisation skills
- Available to start January 2026
