Nanny

Hours: (~2pm to 7pm) 25+ hours per week to start, could increase to more
Days: Monday to Friday
Duties: Primarily baby care for 3M old, after-school Nanny for 2.5Y old + light housekeeping/mother's help

Requirements: ideally French speaking, not a strict requirement

We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper/mother's helper for our 3 month old baby. You would take care of the baby for several hours during the day and then go pick up our daughter from nursery in Angel around 5/ 5:30pm and bring her back home to give her dinner. We live in King's Cross, a 20 mins walk or short bus ride from the Nursery in Angel. You would finish by 7pm and we would offer occasional extra babysitting in evenings. The position is part-time with hours and details to be confirmed together starting at 25 hours per week with a view to increase this to full time as mom goes back to work in the autumn.

Duties include:
- Baby care including preparing and sterilizing bottles, changing nappies, putting baby down for naps, and stimulating baby in an age appropriate way.
- Toddler pick up from nursery, taking her to activities, playground, or back home safely. Toddler meals and cleaning up. Tidying up toys and bedroom.
- Light housekeeping including loading and unloading dishwasher, keeping kitchen and play areas tidy, doing toddler and baby laundry. (we have a cleaner who does deep cleaning each week so this is mainly light cleaning)

Mom is French and speaks exclusively French to the kids, dad is Egyptian and speak Arabic and English. We’d like a nanny who can ideally speak fluent French to both kids, but open to a great nanny/housekeeper even if not French speaking.
