Spanish Teacher | Camden (Independent Senior School)
We are working with a world-renowned independent senior school in Camden seeking an inspirational Spanish Teacher. This role is ideal for a practitioner who balances academic rigour with a passion for Hispanic culture, literature, and cinema.
The School & Staff Culture This institution is defined by a culture of scholarly enquiry. As a member of the MFL faculty, you will join a team of subject experts who benefit from small class sizes (averaging 12–15 students) and a highly motivated pupil body. Key Responsibilities
Academic Excellence: Delivering Spanish from KS3 through to A-Level, with a focus on sophisticated grammatical structures and authentic oral fluency.
Oxbridge Preparation: Mentoring students through the Modern Languages admissions process for elite universities, including mock interviews and HAT preparation.
Co-Curricular Leadership: Coordinating the school’s "Hispanic Society" and leading biennial immersion trips to Spain or Latin America.
Pastoral Duty: Serving as a Sixth Form Tutor, providing high-level academic and emotional support to a small group of tutees.
Salary & Contract Details
Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent)
Contract: Full-time | Permanent | September 2026 Start
