The Role

• The successful ECT of Geography will take responsibility for delivering the curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), inspiring students with the dynamic nature of the subject.
• You will be immediately supported by a high-quality mentor and fully engaged with a bespoke ECT induction programme focused on practical skills development and impactful teaching.
• The ECT of Geography is expected to contribute actively to fieldwork planning and delivery, making the most of local and regional resources.
• This permanent, part-time post is an ideal fit for an ECT of Geography seeking professional stability with a balanced timetable.
• The department values strong subject knowledge and will encourage the ECT of Geography to share recent university-level learning with pupils.
• The appointed ECT of Geography will play a role in departmental assessment and tracking to ensure exceptional pupil progress.
• You will be integrated into a highly collaborative Humanities faculty as the ECT of Geography.
