About Oddbox

As much as 2.5 billion tonnes of food are wasted globally every year – which plays a big part in the climate crisis. We're on a mission to change that, with rescued fruit and veg from hard-working growers, alongside plastic-free ingredients and brands that do good for the planet.

With fruit, veg and more delivered right to your door, we're working towards a fairer food system – one where growers are supported and paid fairly, where produce doesn't have to look 'perfect' and, most importantly, where we never waste taste. No more unnecessary air miles or plastic – just delicious food that fights waste with every box.

The Role

As our Finance Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly. Supporting both accounts payable and accounts receivable, you'll work closely with the wider finance team to ensure transactions are processed accurately, records are maintained and colleagues receive great support.

This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone with experience in a finance or accounts function who enjoys working with detail, building great working relationships and continuously improving the way things are done. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a purpose-driven business where you'll make a real impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

Experience working in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or wider finance function.

A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.

Excellent numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience using accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Studying towards an AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

A proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to learn.

Mindset & Behaviours

A team player who enjoys collaborating with others and building positive working relationships.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Keen to learn, develop and contribute to a purpose-led business making a positive impact.
