Computer Science Teacher
You would be working in a modern and ambitious Computing department teaching Computer Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is exceptionally well-resourced with dedicated computing suites and modern technology that support innovative and engaging teaching.
Students are enthusiastic about technology and enjoy exploring topics including programming, algorithms, cyber security, databases and computer systems. Lessons are designed to develop computational thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills while preparing students for future careers in the digital sector.
The department has a strong record of academic success and teachers work collaboratively to ensure students are supported and challenged effectively. Staff are encouraged to contribute to coding clubs, STEM initiatives and wider enrichment opportunities.
The School provides a supportive environment where staff are encouraged to develop professionally and contribute positively to wider school life. You will benefit from excellent CPD provision, mentoring support for ECTs and opportunities for progression within the department and wider school community.
