Senior/Head Housekeeper based in Holland Park, London - £55,000 – £65,000 DOE

Ideally suit Housekeeper with a Driving Licence

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Occasional evening or weekend support for dinners/events, agreed in advance

A warm and welcoming family based in Holland Park is seeking a capable, proactive, and experienced Senior Housekeeper/Head Housekeeper to join their household team. This is a key position working alongside one other full-time housekeeper, with a focus on overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards are met, and contributing to the smooth running of the home.

While this role carries senior responsibilities, collaboration is essential. The existing housekeeper knows the household well, and the new hire must be comfortable working as a team—offering leadership where appropriate, while also being open to guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping duties with precision and care
• Prepare simple, wholesome meals (home-style Italian cooking preferred), using fresh, high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
• Maintain household systems and organisation, including storage, inventories, and general upkeep
• Liaise with regular contractors and service providers, flagging issues to the Principal or Property Manager as needed
• Support occasional dinners and events hosted at the residence
• Care for high-end finishes, materials, and furnishings with appropriate techniques

Ideally Suit:

• Energetic, intuitive, and highly proactive – able to anticipate needs and act independently
• Professional and articulate, with strong communication skills
• Discreet, presentable, and approachable, with a calm and supportive attitude
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A confident home cook with a passion for fresh food, full of flavour
• Italian language skills are a plus, but not essential
• A valid driver’s licence is preferred
