This lovely family based in Belsize Park, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel with the family for approximately 3 to 4 weeks per year, both within Europe and worldwide, and provide care for the child during the family’s absences. They are looking for a mature, responsible, and experienced professional with a strong background in caring for children of a similar age. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm ( School holidays from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday)
Duties include:
- Picking the child up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments.
- Bathing the child and maintaining proper hygiene.
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
- Putting the child to bed and supporting bedtime routines.
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the child’s educational growth.
- Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
- Managing the child’s washing, clothing, and personal organisation.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child.
