French & Spanish Teacher | Independent Islington Secondary

The Role & Responsibilities Working within a passionate language faculty, you will handle the vital work that allows our students to become confident, spontaneous, and culturally aware linguists.

• Language Instruction: Teaching French and Spanish across KS3 and GCSE, with the opportunity for A-Level instruction for suitably qualified candidates.

• Cultural Immersion: Coordinating international trips, exchange programmes, and European film and debating clubs to bring the languages to life.

• Oral Proficiency Development: Working with small groups to develop student confidence in spoken language, focusing on phonetics and spontaneous dialogue.

• Departmental Growth: Contributing to the digital MFL resource bank, utilizing interactive tools and authentic media to enhance learning.

Requirements

• Degree: A degree in French, Spanish, or Modern Languages.

• QTS: Mandatory.

• Right to Work: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary & Contract Details

• Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent)

• Contract: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
