We are partnering with a well-established and growing London-based accountancy firm seeking an ambitious Executive to join its Business Accounting & Advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their exposure across statutory accounts, outsourcing and advisory within a high-quality and progressive environment.
You will join a collaborative team delivering services to a varied portfolio of corporate clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101, FRS 102, FRS 105)
Preparation of management accounts for outsourcing clients
VAT return preparation and submission
Bookkeeping using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
Liaising with auditors and supporting year-end processes
Basic corporation tax computations
Managing client relationships and acting as day-to-day contact
Identifying value-add and cross-selling opportunities
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Managing time, budgets and multiple assignments effectively
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge
Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client assignments
Confident working across multiple accounting software platforms
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
This role would suit a recently qualified or post-qualified accountant looking to step into a broader advisory-focused position within a firm offering structured progression, strong technical exposure and long-term development opportunities.
