Putney Afternoon Nanny, Job ID J2037D
This lovely family based in Putney, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their three school-aged children. Mother will be returning to work and is wanting an extra set of hands help get the girls ready in the morning and drop them off at school, as well as pick them up and assist with afternoon and bedtime preparations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, fun and flexible when needed. The children will be at their Father's home on Wednesday evenings, so no Wednesday pick up or Thursday mornings will be required. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position. Au pair candidates may apply.
Working hours: Option 1: Monday, Tuesday and Friday 6:30am-11am and 4pm-6:30pm. Wednesday 6:30am-11am and Thursday 4pm-6:30pm (28 hours per week). Option 2: Live-in Au Pair similar schedule to above
Duties include:
- Picked up children from school and transported them to after-school activities, playdates, and appointments
- Assisted with bathing and maintained children’s personal hygiene
- Ensured children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
- Engaged children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings (e.g., park visits)
- Supported bedtime routines and settled children to sleep
- Encouraged early literacy by reading books and storytelling
- Assisted with homework and supported educational progress
- Established and maintained consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
- Kept bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Prepared and served nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s needs
