Their award-winning team understands the real-world application of technology, which informs each client engagement from consulting and design to construction, service and management. They specialise in Collaboration, Video Conferencing, Service & Maintenance Contracts, System Design, Video Wall Solutions, Installations, and Managed Services.

Role Description

Our client are seeking a UK-based Sales Director to lead a team of experienced sellers, with a focus on enterprise workplace customers. This role will provide strategic direction, account planning, and governance, ensuring sales efforts align with the US team’s core messages and the wider business strategy. The Sales Director will coach and support a seasoned team, drive go-to-market strategy, manage margins and expenses, and work collaboratively with marketing and operations. An AV background is strongly preferred, as the business requires someone who can quickly adapt and be respected by an established team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the UK sales team to deliver against ambitious revenue and growth targets.
  • Develop and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with business objectives across the UK and wider EMEA region.
  • Build, nurture, and expand relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, Delivery) to ensure sales processes are streamlined and scalable.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Drive governance and consistency across sales activities, ensuring alignment with global policies and standards.
  • Identify new market opportunities, trends, and client needs to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent the business externally at client meetings, industry events, and thought leadership forums.

Essential Skills & Experience :

  • Sales Director experience within the AV industry (or adjacent industries with fast learning ability).
  • Strategic mindset: go-to-market strategy, account planning, sales governance.
  • Management experience with credibility to lead an experienced sales team.
  • Coaching ability – guiding experienced sellers (most with 5+ years in industry).
  • Running sales meetings, governance, margin management, responsible selling, expense control, travel approval.
  • Collaboration with marketing and operations.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience of leading sales operations in an international or multi-entity environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or experience with sales transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of complex solution selling across multiple verticals.
  • Established network within enterprise technology, media production, or workplace experience sectors.
