Family Associate
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of family law matters, with a particular emphasis on private children work , alongside experienced Partners and Senior Associates.
The Role You’ll be involved in all aspects of family law, providing specialist advice to a diverse client base. The role offers hands-on experience managing your own caseload while collaborating on complex, high-value matters. You’ll liaise directly with clients, counsel, and other professionals to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on private children and financial remedy matters, including high-net-worth and cross-border disputes
- Manage litigation processes—drafting statements, preparing bundles, instructing experts, and briefing counsel
- Support Partners and senior team members on complex cases
- Contribute to business development through articles, events, and thought leadership
- Ensure full compliance with professional and regulatory standards
- Qualified Solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE in family law
- Strong experience in private children matters, with some exposure to financial cases
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and communication skills
- Commercially astute, organised, and solution-driven
- Confident handling complex, high-net-worth disputes
