Head Registered Veterinary Nurse
Role Overview:
As a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional veterinary care, supporting the veterinary team, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Location: West London
Salary: £35,000 - £37,500 per year
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of veterinary nurses and support staff.
- Provide high-quality care to animals in line with practice protocols.
- Assist with surgical procedures, anaesthesia, and consultations.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Support and mentor junior staff, helping to develop their clinical skills.
- Ensure the practice is compliant with all relevant legislation and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment.
- Help to deliver excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS membership.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, with some leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Passion for delivering high standards of patient care and service.
