Live-out Housekeeper
We are looking for a high energy Housekeeper who has 7+ years’ experience working in private households. The team member must be proactive with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be seeking committed, long term employment. The Housekeeper will be joining a team of 2 other Housekeepers who will work staggered hours.
Hours: Full time (Monday - Friday), 10am - 7pmSalary: £45,000-£47,000 DOE
Experience: 7+ years housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
House: 4-bed and a 2-bed property, within same building, based in Belgravia Responsibilities, not limited to:
- General housekeeping includes dusting, polishing, vacuuming and mopping
- Laundry and ironing to a high standard - experience with fine and fragile fabrics is required
- Making beds
- Wardrobe management
- Packing / unpacking suitcases after principal’s trips
- Organisation of pantries and storage spaces
- Shopping, ad hoc errands, restocking household supplies and product inventory
- Liaising with contractors and maintenance visits
- Coordination with the Personal Assistant and other members of the team
- Flexbility to travel with the principals to the U.S for a few weeks at a time
Requirements:
- Flexible schedule, including weekend hours
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Happy to take direction
- Ability to work independently and within the larger team
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of service
- Clear DBS is essential
- Must provide professional, verifiable references
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
