Senior Actuary - Internal Model
We are seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of a new Internal Model framework.
This is a high-profile opportunity for an actuarial professional to lead a team of five and take ownership of Internal Model design, ensuring its ongoing appropriateness, effectiveness, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and enhancement of the Internal Model framework
- Take accountability for the ongoing appropriateness and effectiveness of the model
- Drive and support regulatory approval processes for major Internal Model changes, including the introduction of new asset classes
- Navigate complex regulatory environments and engage confidently with key stakeholders
- Manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing actuarial team
- Work closely with wider Internal Model teams and senior C-suite stakeholders
- Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of Internal Models and associated regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience managing regulatory approval processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
- Qualified actuary with strong technical and commercial acumen
