Chef - Five Oaks (33 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days)
We’re pleased to be recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our friendly team of five at Five Oaks . If you enjoy producing high‑quality, well‑presented meals and being part of a supportive kitchen team, this role could be a great fit.

This position offers 33 hours per week , working 5 out of 7 days with weekends on rotation . You’ll take part in breakfast, lunch and dinner service , working shifts of 8:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm .
What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing and cooking tasty, nutritious meals in line with set menus
• Delivering consistent food quality, presentation and portion standards
• Providing input and ideas when menu changes are being developed by the wider team
• Supporting a positive experience for residents and responding to feedback
• Helping to monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs
• Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and participating in daily cleaning routines
• Following all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and organisational policies

What we’re looking for:

• A passion for great food and excellent service
• Experience working as a Chef in a similar setting
• A team-focused approach and confidence supporting colleagues
• A Food Hygiene certificate
• Flexibility, reliability and a proactive attitude
