Project / GMP Specialist Senior Manager
Join Isio’s Projects Team, a specialist team focused on delivering complex project work across our actuarial and administration business. This role will involve leading large-scale, data-intensive, and technically challenging projects in areas such as Benefit Rectification, Insurance Readiness, and GMP Equalisation.
This role can be based in any of our Isio offices in a hybrid workstyle. It is a national role, offering the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
We are open to considering those looking for a permanent role, a fixed term contract, or if readily available, a shorter-term day rate contract.
What does the role entail?
Project Leadership & Delivery
o Lead the end-to-end delivery of large and complex actuarial and data projects.
o Support or oversee a dedicated delivery team, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to timelines.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance throughout project lifecycles.
o Dedicated time focused on client delivery and project leadership.
Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
o Provide solutions for complex and non-standard cases, guiding the team through technical challenges.
o Offer pragmatic advice and determine appropriate approaches for intricate scenarios.
Technical Development & Innovation
o Supporting the development of solutions for niche and complex actuarial issues.
o Initially, this will have a strong focus on GMP Equalisation, with opportunities to broaden into other technical areas.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
o Work across multiple offices and teams, building strong internal and external relationships.
o Share knowledge and best practices across the Projects Team and wider business.
What we’re looking for?
· Strong actuarial or pensions project experience, particularly in:
o GMP Equalisation
o Benefit Rectification
o Insurance Readiness or similar large-scale projects
· Proven experience leading large & complex projects.
· Ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues.
· Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
· Experience working across multiple clients and project environments.
