The Opportunity
An Outstanding secondary school in Islington is seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for their vibrant school community. This is a permanent role within a high-achieving environment where administrative excellence is highly valued. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the school’s professional image while supporting a diverse range of stakeholders including parents, pupils, and external visitors.
Role Details
First Point of Contact: Managing the main switchboard and welcoming all visitors in accordance with safeguarding and visitor-entry protocols.
Admissions Support: Assisting the administrative team with student data entry using school management systems like SIMS or Arbor.
Communication: Handling all inbound and outbound school correspondence, including parental newsletters and emergency alerts.
Salary Note: The starting salary within the £26k–£30k range will be determined by the successful candidate's prior school office experience.
