Rolling Stock Engineer - Brake Pneumatics

Job Title: Rolling Stock Engineer (brake pneumatic systems)Location: Hybrid - London (Palestra)Rate: Up to £509 p/day (DOE) - Umbrella Duration: 6 months (sick cover)Overview: We are seeking an experienced Rolling Stock Engineer to provide cover for a 6-month period. The role is a hybrid mix of office-based and remote working, with occasional access to depots. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with strong experience in brake pneumatic systems and a paperwork-focused approach to engineering.Key Responsibilities:Review schematics, technical reports, and investigation documents.Apply a documentation-based mindset and understanding of engineering principles.Support investigations and provide technical input relating to brake pneumatic systems.Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to established processes.Liaise with depot teams and other stakeholders as required.Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience in brake pneumatic systems.Strong technical knowledge with a paperwork/documentation focus.Ability to interpret schematics, reports, and investigation findings.Knowledge of engineering principles and processes in rolling stock or transport environments.Depot/WSI access is advantageous (if already held).
