The Role:
As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will be accountable for FDJ UNITED's relationships with key third party vendors providing Activation functions, and ensuring that our capability meets and strives to exceed functional requirements from the FDJ UNITED Global Marketing Services team as well as Market-specific stakeholders.
What will you do?
- Enable Marketing to deliver industry-leading customer experiences by supporting a best-in-class Marketing Technology stack.
- Support campaign management and orchestration platforms including content automation, journey design, decisioning, and outbound channel activation.
- Contribute to the marketing technology roadmap by collaborating with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Analytics.
- Support business teams in capturing and articulating functional requirements for campaigns, personalisation, advertising, and measurement.
- Assist Marketing teams in delivering value-driving use cases by advising on technical capabilities and identifying issues, risks, or functional gaps.
- Nurture vendor relationships through regular contact, ensuring platforms evolve to meet business needs.
- Contribute to contract renewals and participate in RFI/RFP processes for new solutions.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all core marketing platforms (CRM, CDP, CMS, advertising, identity, analytics).
- Work with Power Users across Marketing to deliver training, support, and documentation.
- Monitor and report on the performance of platforms and campaigns, producing regular KPI updates.
- Support the configuration and use of APIs and integrations to connect marketing platforms with data and customer systems.
- Assist with upgrades, maintenance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure all activity complies with GDPR, consent management, and governance requirements.
- Contribute to marketing transformation initiatives such as automation, AI adoption, and stack consolidation.
- Perform market and competitor research to support innovation and process improvements.
- Ensure that you, and your team, adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations within your direct responsibility and control.
- Ensure any non-compliance incidents within your team are raised through the appropriate channels (Compliance Incidents Process) and that your team are informed of any reporting processes relevant to them.
- Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
- Ensure your team's completion of all mandatory compliance trainings within the set deadline.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.
What have you done?
- 3-5 years' experience in Marketing Technology, MarTech operations, or lifecycle marketing.
- Strong technical experience of current web and data technologies.
- Hands-on experience with at least one orchestration platform (Optimove, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, etc.).
- Experience with APIs, automation, and integration workflows.
- Experience with campaign execution, data integrations, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Working knowledge of SQL and cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred).
- Knowledge of identity resolution and consent management.
- Familiarity with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Exposure to advertising technology and analytics enablement.
- Regulated industry experience (gaming, fintech, financial services).
