Hire/Transport Administrator (Forklift Trucks)

Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a national dealer of a leading forklift product that are looking to bring on a new Hire/Transport Administrator, based in their Maidenhead depot. With a competitive basic salary this is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator, working within a business that supplies capital equipment rental, looking to get into a new role or industry with progression potential.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with all hire/transport desk enquiries for new and existing customers requiring forklift trucks
• Assisting with the organization of equipment delivery and overall scheduling
• Carrying out all required administrative tasks related to both hire and transport
• Preparing invoices for clients and suppliers
• Working directly with Service Controllers and Service Managers throughout the ordering process
• Liaising with engineers in the field and in the workshop to ensure that correct parts are ordered efficiently

Requirements

Due to the responsibilities of the position, you will ideally have experience of working within the Material Handling industry in a role with a hire/transport focus, however this is not essential. The company would also consider candidates with experience from similar industries such as plant hire, powered access, automotive, commercial vehicles or any other industries with transferable knowledge. The role may also suit an individual with experience working within the Material Handling industry as an engineer. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Maidenhead.
