Hourly Rate: £28-32 Umbrella
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join our private client’s team in South East London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
You will perform culture, identification, and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens. You will detect bacterial infections using manual and automated techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
– HCPC registration
– Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
– Experience in Microbiology within a clinical laboratory
– Experience with culture and sensitivity testing
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– NHS experience (preferred)
