About the Art Department

About the Role
The Art Technician will work closely with teaching staff to support lesson delivery and maintain high standards across the department.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing materials and equipment for lessons, workshops, and projects.
• Maintaining studios, organising resources, and managing stock.
• Supporting students with practical work, portfolios, and displays.
• Assisting with exhibitions, showcases, and GCSE/A Level setups.
• Ensuring safe use of specialist tools and equipment.
Requirements
• Experience in an art, design, or workshop environment.
• Practical skills in a range of materials and media.
• Good organisational skills and a strong eye for detail.
