Senior Gardener – Prestigious Private Estate

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Gardener to join the team responsible for the care and presentation of one of London’s most outstanding private gardens. Maintained to the very highest standards, this garden forms part of a portfolio of exceptional high-end residential estates managed by a multi-award-winning private developer.

The Role

Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will play a key role in ensuring the gardens are maintained and developed to the highest horticultural and aesthetic standards. Duties include:

Planting, pruning, weeding, mulching and border maintenance

Lawn care, hedge trimming, leaf collection and seasonal displays

Upkeep of irrigation systems, water features and hard landscaping

Machinery operation and light maintenance

About You

We are looking for an experienced horticultural professional who can demonstrate:

Excellent plant knowledge and a strong understanding of horticultural practices

A relevant qualification (e.g. RHS or NVQ Level 2+)

A proactive, flexible approach with integrity and discretion

High attention to detail and the ability to plan and manage workload effectively

Experience in a large or high-standard garden environment (desirable)

PA1/PA6, CS30/31 or irrigation/water feature experience (advantageous, not essential)

A full clean driving licence
