Full-time Nanny in Knightsbridge, London, Job ID J216BF

Little Ones UK Ltd
Knightsbridge, Greater London

A warm and wonderful family based in Knightsbridge, London, is seeking a long-term Nanny to care for their first baby, who is due at the beginning of September.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of childcare experience and will be kind, engaging, discreet, and reliable. Someone qualified and experienced in early childhood development would be ideal for this role. The parents both have demanding jobs, so they require a nanny who can offer flexibility and maintain a professional approach at all times.

The family has a night nurse in place, so the nanny will be expected to work well alongside her and manage a smooth handover at the end of each day. The nanny may also be required to work between two locations, which are within 10 minutes of each other.

The role will focus on the baby’s care, routine, and development. This will include supporting feeding, preparing bottles, washing and sterilising bottles, managing the baby’s laundry, maintaining the nursery and wardrobe, and handling child-related admin tasks. When the time is right, the nanny will also support weaning and prepare healthy, balanced meals for the baby.

The family would like someone confident in planning educational activities, supporting developmental milestones, and helping the baby socialise through local classes and nanny networks. Worldwide travel with the family may also be required.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 20:00, with a minimum of 5 days per week from Monday to Friday. Additional babysitting may be required.

Duties include:

  • caring for a newborn baby
  • supporting the baby’s daily routine and development
  • working alongside the night nurse and managing daily handovers
  • supporting breastfeeding and preparing bottles
  • washing and sterilising bottles
  • managing the baby’s laundry
  • maintaining the nursery and wardrobe
  • handling child-related admin tasks
  • planning age-appropriate activities
  • supporting developmental milestones
  • taking the baby to classes and local nanny groups
  • encouraging early socialisation with other children
  • supporting weaning when the time is right
  • preparing nutritious and balanced meals for the baby
  • working between two nearby locations when required
  • travelling worldwide with the family when needed
  • providing additional babysitting when required

The family is looking for someone who can start on 14 September 2026.
