Part-time Housekeeper in Hampstead, London, Job ID J20436R
A lovely family based in Hampstead is seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their household. The position centres on general housekeeping, including routine cleaning, laundry, cupboard organisation, and occasional errands to keep the household running smoothly. A major component of this role involves caring for the family’s three dogs, so a genuine love for animals and a confident, gentle touch are essential; responsibilities include tailored daily walks, administering daily eye drops to one of the dogs, and providing occasional dog-sitting when the family is away. Ultimately, the family is looking for a fluent English speaker who is comfortable in a lively, pet-filled environment and who will bring a supportive, caring, and cheerful presence to their home.
Working hours: 1 to 3 days per week, 4 to 6 hours per today
Duties include:
- Preparing healthy family meals
- General housekeeping and home maintenance
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting and polishing furniture and surfaces
- Cleaning and organising kitchen and living areas
- Managing laundry, ironing, and folding
- Making beds and changing linens
- Running errands as needed
- Feeding the family cat and ensuring its well-being
