A creative opening for an Art ECT in a high-attaining Barnet school. Beyond traditional ECT support, we offer training in visual and professional communication, helping you articulately critique student portfolios and showcase departmental successes to the wider school community.
Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope
Visual Expression: Instructing Art and Design across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.
Technical Skills: Teaching a range of media, from painting and drawing to sculpture and printmaking.
Induction Cycle: Regular meetings with your induction lead to ensure all teaching standards are exceeded.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Art or Fine Art.
Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS).
Support: Dedicated studio space and a full-time Art Technician.
