Full-Time Nanny – Battersea, London

A warm and welcoming family relocating from the Netherlands to Battersea, London, is looking for an experienced, proactive, and caring nanny to join them from mid-August / early September 2026.

Location: Battersea, London

Start: Mid-August / Early September 2026

Hours: 35–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Salary: £45,000+ gross per year (depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and overall suitability)

Children: 5.5 years, 4 years, 2.5 years, 7 months (in September)

The two older girls attend school. The family is exploring nursery arrangements for the younger children, meaning the balance of responsibilities may evolve over time.

This role will involve a mixture of sole-charge and shared-care responsibilities, depending on the family’s schedule and needs. The parents are hands-on and involved, and are looking for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively as part of a family team.

Responsibilities include:
-Caring for the younger children during the day
-School and nursery pick-ups
-Planning age-appropriate activities, outings, and play opportunities
-Supporting routines, development, and emotional wellbeing
-Preparing children’s meals and snacks
-Children’s laundry, organisation, and bedroom/playroom upkeep
-Supporting after-school activities, dinner, bath time, and evening routines
-Providing additional childcare support during school holidays and busy family periods

The ideal candidate will be:
-Experienced caring for babies and multiple children
-Warm, organised, proactive, and dependable
-Confident managing children’s routines independently
-Comfortable working closely with involved parents and adapting between sole-charge and shared-care situations
-An excellent communicator who values teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism
-Able to provide stability and support during an international relocation
-Looking for a long-term role with a lovely family
-Portuguese and/or Dutch speaking is a plus
-Already holds the legal right to work in the United Kingdom

The family is known to be respectful, collaborative, and mindful of workload expectations. They value clear communication and understand the importance of allowing their nanny to focus on childcare rather than expecting multiple competing responsibilities at the same time.

Several nannies and childcare professionals who have worked with the family previously would be happy to provide references regarding their experience working with them.

Requirements to apply: at least 3 years of experience in childcare and with similar roles, Updated CV, Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid, 2 excellent references, right to live and work in the UK.
