Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and results-driven Sales Director (Europe) to join our team. As a Sales Director, you will be primarily managing a dedicated Account Executive team who focuses on closing new business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the retail media space and have a proven history of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets, focused on agencies and enterprise brands. This candidate should also possess strength in communication and proven leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives focused on closing new business across Europe. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Business Development: Drive pipeline growth and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach, consultative selling, and a deep understanding of client needs.
- Client Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations and present business cases to C-level executives, articulating the impact of Xnurta’s AI-powered solutions on retail media performance.
- Market Expansion: Analyze market trends, customer challenges, and competitive insights to identify new opportunities for growth across the European region.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product, and client success teams to align go-to-market efforts and ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure CRM accuracy and pipeline hygiene; develop strong forecasting and reporting discipline.
- Industry Representation: Attend client meetings, partner sessions, and key industry events across Europe to strengthen Xnurta’s brand and relationships.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 5+ years of SaaS selling experience required
- 3+ years of experience in retail media industry required
- 3+ years outbound prospecting experience is preferred
- 1-2 years of sales team management experience required
- Proven negotiation skills, proficient with CRM / office productivity tools, experience developing compelling proposals, exhibit our core leadership principles
- Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions across digital retail including paid search, video and display advertising for direct response and brand objectives
- Expert in consultative selling, active listening and development of client-focused solutions that exceed the needs of clients
- Ability to travel within Europe and occasionally internationally
- London-based role with regular in-office presence (3–4 days/week)
