Senior Consultant Housing Finance
Want to be at the forefront of transforming financial planning for UK housing associations?
Join us in building a rapidly growing team delivering high-impact, financial planning software to housing associations across the UK. You’ll help tackle the long-standing challenges the sector has been facing for years, and in doing so, improve their impact while building long-term, trusted relationships.
If you’re looking for a unique opportunity to truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
What will you do?
Already the market leader in the Netherlands - with over 250 housing associations using our software - Ortec Finance’s UK presence is in its exciting start-up phase.
You’ll work as part of a tight, dynamic team to identify new clients, manage their implementation, and support their user teams. Collaborating closely with our development team you’ll translate client needs into new features, and drive continuous innovation. You’ll also keep a close eye on regulation ensuring we adapt to updates like changes to the FFR and new legislation, and incorporating them into our software.
Your role will be hands-on and varied: managing implementations, delivering demos, authoring thought leadership, hosting roundtable sessions, and attending industry events to raise our profile and grow our network.
And once a client is up and running, that’s just the beginning. You’ll support them with strategic questions, help optimize their data processes and ultimately enable them to make better investment decisions. So they can maximize their social impact.
We offer a truly dynamic workplace with ample opportunities to work closely with leading financial professionals across the industry.
Who are you?
As an experienced consultant, you enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to develop better financial planning solutions. You thrive on understanding complex challenges and translating them into clear, practical outcomes. Thanks to strong analytical skills, you quickly master new software, process data efficiently, and are always looking for opportunities to improve. With your proactive mindset, you contribute innovative ideas and continuously aim to grow your career. Fluent in English, your excellent communication helps you make a real impact.
You also align with our core values and have:
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the housing association sector, specifically within financial planning and analysis teams.
Familiarity with Brixx is an advantage. In many cases we will face a transformation that is needed from Brixx, so a strong understanding of best practices and common pitfalls will help you stand out.
A genuine passion for social housing. Supporting the sector and driving real improvements is one of your key motivations.
Proactive and open-minded, you actively seek new opportunities and enjoy generating new ideas.
A true “people person”. Of course, you like the numbers, but you recognize that success ultimately depends on people. You excel at building trusted, long-term personal relationships and are willing to visit financial planning and analysis teams across the UK.
