Litigation Solicitor
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £45,000+ (depending on experience) + generous bonus scheme
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30–17:30

About the Firm
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with offices in East and South London. The practice has a strong and loyal client base and acts for a wide range of commercial and private clients. The firm prides itself on delivering specialist, high-quality legal advice and is now seeking a talented Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued growth of the litigation department and will share the firm’s commitment to outstanding client service.
The Role
The firm is seeking a solicitor with broad litigation experience, able to manage a varied and interesting caseload independently. You will work on a range of contentious matters and be encouraged to contribute to business development and client relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
Acting for clients across a wide range of litigation matters
Managing case preparation, drafting pleadings and legal documents
Providing clear, strategic advice on disputes
Preparing for hearings and trials, including conducting negotiations
Working closely with senior management and reporting to the Managing Partner
Collaborating with colleagues on complex and high-value cases
Supporting the growth of the department through networking and business development
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers
The Candidate
You will be a confident and capable Litigation Solicitor with:
2+ years PQE in litigation
Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and property disputes
Experience in matters such as contractual disputes, debt recovery, and landlord & tenant litigation
Proven ability to manage a caseload autonomously
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
A proactive approach to business development
Strong organisational and administrative abilities
A professional, personable, and client-focused manner
Ambition to progress and develop within the firm
