An excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a thriving nursery in Uxbridge, West London in a permanent role starting ASAP.
This lovely nursery boasts great resources, including a private garden for outdoor learning and specialist rooms, and the supportive management team care about every member of staff. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be working with likeminded colleagues in a positive work environment, and there are plenty of opportunities for career progression and bonuses paid throughout the year.
Previous experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting and a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this Early Years Practitioner position. A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a good attitude and passion for working in Early Years is very important.
Working full-time as an Early Years Practitioner, you will be:
- Planning and leading activities that will stimulate children's imagination and creativity
- Encouraging development through age-appropriate interactive play
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development from a young age
- Helping children to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills
- Assisting with early reading and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum closely
- Carrying out observations and assessing key children's development
- Paid a competitive salary ranging from £26k-£30k per annum
