We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed Geography Teacher to join the successful Humanities faculty at a well-regarded secondary academy in the Hounslow area of West London.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.

Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS3/KS4), with potential for Key Stage 5 (KS5) teaching.
Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 available
The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Geography specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous and engaging lessons that foster curiosity about the world's human and physical processes. You'll be joining a supportive environment where fieldwork, data analysis, and critical thinking are central to the curriculum. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice and contributing to the department's strong academic record.
To attract an exceptional candidate, this role includes a generous Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum . This financial incentive is a purely financial reward designed to support excellent teachers and their commitment to our school community.

We Are Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
A proven track record as an excellent Geography Teacher (covering both human and physical aspects to at least KS4).
A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
A strong commitment to integrating fieldwork and current global issues into the curriculum.
The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.
Salary and Benefits
Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Outer London Pay Scale (The Outer London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £37,870 as of September 2025).
A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
