Salary – Starting from £29,432 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Wandsworth Nursery, situated in Wandsworth and located close to Clapham Junction Overground station, aswell as onsite parking. This role is based in the Baby Room.

The 68-place setting has 5 well-resourced rooms, and an excellent garden area featuring a mud kitchen, and bikes and scooters for the children to enjoy. The nursery is also situated close by to many local parks where the children can enjoy even more outdoor learning and exploring!

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
