Procurement Presales Consultant

Nomia
London

Nomia is transforming the way organizations manage tail spend procurement.

Our AI-powered SaaS platform combines cutting-edge technology with deep human procurement expertise to simplify sourcing, drive compliance, and unlock measurable value.

With a fast-growing global customer base and teams across London, Dubai, Singapore, Krakow, Chicago, and India, we’re building a rocket ship for growth, and we’re looking for passionate, high-impact people to join us.

The Role

We are seeking a Procurement Presales Consultant to help shape and scale how Nomia delivers value to enterprise customers in Europe.

As a trusted procurement advisor during the business development cycle, you will partner closely with Business Development, Product, and Customer Success to uncover customer challenges and priorities, and align them to Nomia’s value proposition and solutions. You’ll use your procurement expertise to translate complex pain points into clear, outcome-based solutions that influence buying decisions and accelerate growth.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role. The right candidate will be dynamic, energetic, and highly motivated, someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, wants to grow their career, and enjoys working with a world-class team. At Nomia, you’ll have the opportunity to make a material impact, have fun along the way, and be part of building something extraordinary.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

  • Lead discovery sessions with customer stakeholders to uncover procurement challenges, pain points, and priorities.
  • Align customer needs to Nomia’s value proposition and demonstrate how our solution addresses their most pressing challenges.
  • Deliver tailored platform demonstrations and solution narratives to senior decision makers (CPOs, CFOs, Heads of Procurement).
  • Support business case development, stakeholder alignment, and champion enablement to accelerate complex buying journeys.

Solution Storytelling

  • Translate procurement challenges into compelling value propositions, ROI models, and transformation narratives.
  • Articulate the unique value of Nomia’s combination of AI, automation, and global human procurement expertise.

Market & Product Influence

  • Provide regional procurement insights to inform product messaging and roadmap priorities.
  • Participate in advisory groups, ensuring consistent customer feedback is converted into actionable requirements.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success to create scalable playbooks and enablement content.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues on procurement trends, vendor landscapes, and category strategies in the European market.

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in procurement and or procurement consulting
  • Knowledge and understanding of competitor landscape and Procuretech Solutions focused on source-to-pay, indirect spend management, orchestration tooling and guided buying
  • Strong understanding of modern procurement processes, sourcing principles, and transformation challenges.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions – can articulate SaaS technology principles and how these are utilised by the platform to drive efficiencies
  • Proven ability to align customer pain points and priorities to value-based solutions.
  • Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders (CPOs, CFOs).
  • Experience running workshops, stakeholder discovery, and solution/value presentations.
  • Commercially sharp — understands deal dynamics, buying journeys, and how to accelerate opportunities.
  • Strong customer-facing presence — credible, articulate, and engaging in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Comfortable demoing SaaS platforms (Nomia training provided).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business case and proposal writing.
  • Passionate about procurement innovation, AI, and automation.
  • CIPS qualification desirable; SaaS/scale-up experience is a plus.

General Information

  • Adhere to Nomia’s data protection and information security policies at all times.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in line with Nomia’s core values.
  • This is a hybrid role, with three office days per week required, potentially more during training or as requested by your supervisor.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in systems and processes.
  • Please note that this role description is a guideline, and duties may evolve over time.
