SEN Teaching Assistant - Southwark
A welcoming and well-organised primary school in Southwark is looking to appoint a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs. The school places high importance on teamwork, consistency, and pupil wellbeing.
You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support that enables pupils to access the curriculum confidently.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils academically and emotionally
Delivering structured interventions
Promoting independence and confidence
Supporting behaviour strategies
Contributing to a positive learning environment
The ideal candidate will have:
SEN experience within a school setting
Positive and resilient attitude
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to follow guidance
Commitment to pupil progress
