The role — KS2 Teacher
This Outstanding school expects the KS2 Teacher to deliver ambitious, knowledge-rich sequences across mathematics and English, to develop deep subject knowledge and to embed vocabulary instruction. The KS2 Teacher will lead small group interventions, support assessment moderation and contribute to curriculum development. From planning work before January 2026 through to full teaching after January 2026, the KS2 Teacher will be supported by subject leads and a strong professional development programme.
KS2 Teacher responsibilities & impact
• Plan and teach high-quality lessons that build long-term memory as the KS2 Teacher.
• Lead maths reasoning and reading comprehension programmes as the KS2 Teacher.
• Run targeted booster groups, track progress and report to families as the KS2 Teacher.
The KS2 Teacher will attend phase meetings prior to January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time KS2 Teacher.
Candidate profile — KS2 Teacher
We are seeking a KS2 Teacher with QTS, demonstrable impact across Key Stage 2 and the desire to lead a curriculum strand in time. The KS2 Teacher should be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as the Full-Time KS2 Teacher.
