This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, and for the right candidate, there is potential for a TLR linked to subject or phase leadership.

The Role

  • Position : KS2 Class Teacher (Year group flexible depending on strengths and experience)
  • Location : Walthamstow, East London
  • Start Date : January 2026
  • Contract : Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
  • TLR : Available for the right candidate to lead a subject or key stage area

In this role, you will:

  • Teach a well-supported KS2 class and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Work within a two-form structure to plan collaboratively and share best practice
  • Take responsibility for progress and wellbeing, supporting pupils academically and pastorally
  • Communicate effectively with parents and work positively as part of the school team
  • (If applicable) Lead a subject area or key stage, supporting curriculum development and teacher confidence

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience or strong interest in Key Stage 2
  • A creative, reflective practitioner with a passion for high-quality education
  • A warm, enthusiastic team player committed to inclusion and equity
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • Someone open to or ready for leadership responsibilities (for those interested in a TLR)
  • Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs
