£16-£17 per hour

Humble Grape is all about great wine, honest food, and genuine hospitality. We import most of our wines directly from independent vineyards, champion sustainable and organic practices, and pair them with seasonal dishes made from scratch. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, hands-on Supervisor to join our Islington team. If you love wine, thrive in buzzing service, and know how to keep both guests and teams smiling under pressure, this could be your perfect next step.

The role

This is a hands-on position in a busy wine bar, restaurant, and shop. You’ll be leading shifts, supporting the team, and making sure every guest leaves feeling looked after. You’ll need to:

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable service with a genuine love for wine and food.

• Anticipate and understand guest needs, creating memorable experiences.

• Keep calm under pressure and handle complaints with professionalism.

• Lead by example, supporting your team with energy, humour, and respect.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar.

• A real passion for service excellence.

• Love (and ideally knowledge) of wine - WSET qualifications are a big plus.

• Strong communication skills and natural hosting ability.

• Excellent grooming and presentation.

• The right to work in the UK.
