Senior Software Engineer, .net and Azure

We’re looking for a  Senior Software Engineer  to design, build, and maintain cloud-native .NET applications in Azure, supporting Royal Mail’s customer-facing websites and backend services. You’ll work in Agile sprints, collaborating with engineers, BAs, POs, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain .NET applications using Azure PaaS.
• Ensure code quality, performance monitoring, and error handling.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams.
• Troubleshoot incidents and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Document code and processes for knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in .NET (C#, Web API, EF Core), Azure App Services, and DevOps.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, secure coding practices, and unit testing.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and modern development patterns.
• Desirable: Experience with Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Data Lake, and front-end frameworks.
