Full-time Housekeeper-Cook in Chelsea, London, Job ID J1FA29

This lovely family based in Chelsea, London, is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper-Cook to maintain their house and food prep for evening meals or dinner parties (Very occasional), plus breakfast and lunch as needed, depending on who is home. All general Housekeeping duties are required in this role. Having someone who loves dogs and being active, but also enjoys cooking and has a background in meal preparation, would be ideal. Dog walking is needed, 2 to 3 times per day for up to an hour at a time, plus feeding twice a day for 2 medium-sized dogs

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with flexibility to work some weekends and evenings with prior notice)

Duties include:

• Dealing with grocery shopping and maintaining receipts
• Keeping kitchen pots, pans and work surfaces clean and in good condition
• Ensuring the refrigerator is clean and out-of-date items are discarded
• Tidying and cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
• Organising window cleaners
• Some washing and ironing of laundry & hand washing delicate items (though much goes to laundry and dry cleaners who collect)
• Answering the door
• Watering household plants
• Dealing with tradesmen, suppliers and contractors when the client gives instructions to
• Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Clearing away, tidying and cleaning the kitchen and rooms where food is eaten
• Presenting menus for approval and discussing dietary requirements with the client
