The Role
As a Science Technician, you will:
- Prepare and set up materials, equipment, and experiments for science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Ensure laboratories are clean, safe, and well-organised.
- Maintain and store equipment and chemicals safely in line with health and safety regulations.
- Support teachers and students during practical lessons.
- Assist with stock management and ordering supplies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working in a school science department or a relevant laboratory setting.
- Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills.
- Has a good understanding of laboratory safety and handling of scientific equipment.
- Holds a science qualification (GCSE/A-Level or higher) or equivalent experience.
